Vintage Painted Frame

I found this empty frame knowing that one day I would paint and re-purpose as a mirror. There are several layers of paint to achieve the effect with charcoal, light grey, white Behr latex paints and paint transformer. I also distressed a little and added a touch of gold and silver to enhance the engraved details. The mirror is a perfect fit on top our new marble fireplace.
